Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of aventrace.io, the free initial case review, the client portal and the chat operated by AvenTrace.
1. Nature of the service
AvenTrace provides independent case documentation and consumer assistance for people affected by financial fraud: we organise evidence, map payment flows and explain which reporting, dispute and legal routes may apply. We do not provide legal, tax, financial or investment advice, we are not a bank, broker, payment institution, regulator or law-enforcement agency, and we never take custody of client funds.
2. No promised outcomes
Whether a bank, card issuer, exchange or authority reverses, refunds or pursues a payment depends on factors outside our control. We make no promise, guarantee or forecast of any outcome. Any statement to the contrary by a person claiming to act for AvenTrace is unauthorised.
3. Free review and paid services
The initial case review is free of charge and creates no obligation. Paid services begin only after you have received and approved a written scope that states the work, the fee and the limitations. We do not request upfront "release", "tax" or "insurance" payments and we do not charge success fees on amounts we do not control.
4. Your obligations
You confirm that the information you submit is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. You must not upload unlawful content or data of third parties without authority. Never share passwords, PINs, seed phrases or online-banking credentials with us or anyone else. Keep your client-portal link private – anyone who has it can see your case.
5. Communication
We communicate by e-mail, telephone, WhatsApp, the client portal and chat. Calls may be recorded for quality and evidence purposes where announced. Response times stated on the website are indicative.
6. Intellectual property
The website, its texts, designs and the case-report templates are the property of AvenTrace or its licensors. You may use reports we prepare for you for your own case, including sharing them with banks, authorities and legal counsel.
7. Liability
Information on this website is provided for general guidance and "as is". To the extent permitted by law, AvenTrace is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intent, gross negligence or where exclusion is not permitted by mandatory law.
8. Third-party links
Links to authorities, regulators or other websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or availability.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which you habitually reside remain unaffected.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the current version is published at aventrace.io/terms. Questions: desk@aventrace.io.
